Job Coin provides bloggers and other indie media sites with a online platform to set up a job board, giving them another means beyond advertising to start monetizing their content. CEO Keith Schact takes a percentage of the revenue sites charge would-be employers to post.

Schacht is also grouping sites into things like the Chicago Job Board Network, which links job boards on MidwestBusiness.com, the Illinois IT Association (ITA), Gapers Block, and Chicagoist. Recruiters can post to any of these sites and reach the combined audiences of approximately 600,000 visitors a month.
