65 business owners came from all over Chicago to present their companies in front of judges and audience members as part of Entrepreneurship Week. Today, we are featuring the full 3-minute pitches of the first three finalists -- Heartfelt Charity Cards, Parkwhiz and the Perfect Dinner. Tomorrow: The last two finalists and the crowning of a winner.
On February 26, as part of Entrepreneurship Week, business owners came from all over the city to present their companies in front of a live audience. They were assigned to five different rooms by industry, including Information Technology, Business Products and Services, Life Sciences, Retail and Consumer Products, and Open Competition room. Investors and industry experts selected five finalists from different industry categories.
The Chicagoland Fast Pitch Event was held on February 26th at the Gleacher Center. The event was organized and supported by the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, DePaul University, The Illinois Business & Investors Forum, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
