On February 26, as part of Entrepreneurship Week, business owners came from all over the city to present their companies in front of a live audience. They were assigned to five different rooms by industry, including Information Technology, Business Products and Services, Life Sciences, Retail and Consumer Products, and Open Competition room. Investors and industry experts selected five finalists from different industry categories.
65 business owners came from all over Chicago to present their companies in front of judges and audience members as part of Entrepreneurship Week. Today, we feature the full 3-minute pitches of the last two finalists — Abernathy Consulting and Optimal Vision — and the crowning of a winner.
The Chicagoland Fast Pitch Event was held on February 26th at the Gleacher Center. The event was organized and supported by the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, DePaul University, The Illinois Business & Investors Forum, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
