Brunswick Corp. CEO Dustan McCoy on the Innovation Imperative, Part 1

In part 1 of this presentation before the Product Development and Management Association's Chicago Chapter, Mr. McCoy discussed Brunswick's long string of successful products and how the company hit a rough spot in 2000 that it's taken years to recover from. He also talks here about how he started getting employees to refocus on innovation after taking over as CEO in 2005.

Brunswick Corp. is a Fortune 500 company with more than 28,000 employees in 26 countries. They are industry leaders in marine products, as well as in fitness, bowling and billiards equipment. Boats — and accessories and parts for those boats — form the biggest part of the company's business. Boats account for $3 billion of the company's $6 billion in sales.
