Know When to Fold 'Em: Entrepreneurs Powwow for a Charity Poker Game

Over 200 of the city's most active investors, entrepreneurs and industry luminaries, including J.B. Pritzker, Jim Gray of OptionsXpress and Bryant Keil, CEO of Potbelly's, gathered at the Chicago Cultural Center for the 2nd annual Smart Bet Charity Poker Tournament on July 19. The goal was to raise money for i.c. stars, Future Founders, and Chicago Communities in Schools.

About Smart Bet

The Smart Bet Charity Poker Tournament was founded by a group of dedicated entrepreneurs who have been getting together regularly since 2004 to network and discuss the entrepreneurial climate in the city of Chicago.

Last year Smart Bet’s twice a month charity poker games raised over $20,000 for charities near and far with many worthy missions.
