Dwight Koop, COO of Cohesive FT (aka Flexible Technologies), is a tech veteran who previously ran data center operations for trading and markets for Swiss Bank. Backers of the company, which gives customers the ability to create custom-configured, container-hardened, subscription-supported application stacks, include O'Conner Ventures as well as several private individuals from the financial community.

The company has nine people in Chciago, two in London and Palo Alto, Calif., and an "operation" in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
