A Start-up Seeks Its Niche in the VOIP Security Market

Salare Security was formed in May 2007 around technolgy its licensing that was developed at IIT. Here, company president Paul Sand, one of three on the management team, explains where the company fits into the competitive landscape. The company is preparing its first product launch in late November, early December and is actively seeking angel funding.

Sand, is a 20 year telecom vet, having done stints with Bell Labs, AT&T and Lucent.
