Bill Myers, Director of Business Development for the ESA and Motorola Ventures, talks about various programs within the company that are designed to identify and commercialize new product innovations. Correction: An earlier version of this segment wrongly stated that Mr. Myers was the "new director" of the ESA
Myers has 20 years of experience in the development and creation of new businesses at Motorola. He has held a variety of technical, business, research, product development and marketing positions at the Schaumburg-based company.
As director of business development for the ESA and Motorola Ventures, he currently leads a team working globally and across the company to pinpoint commercial opportunities.
Myers spoke at the MIT Enterprise Forum-Chicago event called "Innovation in Large Corporations." It was held on February 12.
