One of the Key People Who Put the "Tech" in NAVTEQ

The Chicago based e-mapmaker is slated to be sold to Nokia for $8.1 billion. One of the early forces behind the company's unique products is 13-year veteran Aaron Crane, the VP of Technology in the R&D department. He runs the systems engineering and integration team. This interview was taped at the ITA CityLIGHTS Awards, held at Union Station on April 3. NAVTEQ won the Lighthouse Award: Given to the company that best represents the region’s growing stature as home to world-class information technology companies.
