The Obama Campaign's First Chief Tech Officer Tells a Start-up Story

Kevin Malover was present at the origin. He joined the Obama campaign in February 2007 and left in January 2008, just before the primary election. Here he talks about the entrepreneurial spirit of the early days and the tech team's start-up tactics.

In his pre-Obama days, Malover was CIO at Orbitz, where he led the launch of the online travel company's website.

Malover is currently the Chief Information Officer at GTCR Golder Rauner.
