Amidst the Boeings and Motorolas, not to mention the Web 2.0 tech entrepreneurs, there's a fledgling scene of Do-It-Yourselfers who make their own arts, crafts and miscellaneous goods. This year, at their 4th annual gathering, they gathered to showcase their wares at Pulaski Park in Bucktown.

The event is put on by Amy Carlton of RubberNun.net and Cinnamon Cooper of Poise.cc. In their "Craftifesto," they say:

"Craft is possible. Everybody can create something—you don't have to be an established business to make stuff. The DIY Trunk Show encourages new crafters by giving them a place to sell their work for the first time."
