ENCORE PRESENTATION: Chicago Innovators

Brief interviews with Chicago Innovation Award winners 37signals, Goettsch Partners, "Check, Please!", FeedBurner and Ocean Tomo. Part 1 of 2

Body For the past five years, the Chicago Innovation Awards has recognized pioneers in the field of new products, technologies and business approaches. The 10 segments we're presenting were recorded for the awards ceremony on October 30, 2006. Featured in this installment giving 30-second overviews of their companies are 37signals, Goettsch Partners, "Check, Please!", FeedBurner and Ocean Tomo. (Tomorrow, Part 2)

Chicago-based consulting firm Kuczmarski & Associates and the Chicago Sun-Times created the Awards in 2002 and oversee the nomination and judging processes. Nominees were judged based on the success of products and services introduced between January 2005 and May 2006 that uniquely satisfied unmet needs in the marketplace.
