At the local tech-scene gathering known as Chicago Beta, about 70 entrepreneurs gathered to compare notes and exchange business cards. Gapers Block and PerkSpot.com gave 60-second pitches, and representatives from FeedBurner and Elevated Rails talked about Web 2.0 business tips. The event is for "founders, entrepreneurs, developers, revolutionaries, designers, and other people who are currently involved in (or want to join) a web 2.0 start-ups," according to the website.
